Dataset methodology

Scope

German automotive reporting where restructuring, investment, employment, plant strategy, supplier economics or technology transition are central.

Inclusion criteria

The record must identify a German manufacturer, supplier, plant, workforce or material Germany-linked operating decision.

Exclusions and limitations

Generic global vehicle launches without a German industrial or operating consequence are excluded.

Revision policy

The index is rebuilt from the publication archive as new qualifying reporting is added. Historical article dates and source attribution remain unchanged; new observations are appended rather than backfilled with inferred facts.

Reuse and attribution
