How this research is maintained
Reference pages are reviewed when underlying data or project status changes. A newer publication date is not applied unless the page has been substantively checked. Where a figure depends on geography, currency, accounting period or inclusion criteria, those definitions stay attached to the number.
For datasets and rankings, the source and review date are part of the result. Readers should cite the dataset together with its review date because corporate, regulatory and infrastructure records can change.
